Nice view of the countryside. I like the DR and will return one day.
too bad you stood facing the sun and your friends are in shadow.
I suppose some work with LEVELS or DODGE tool in Photoshop would improve things a bit, but better to wait for a cloud to roll by, or turn on the flash.
