This is an excellent shot, with good use of dramatic wideangle perspective. You definitely captured the "decisive moment" here. What's more, you give a real sense of place: I can feel the heat and see the urban sprawl right up against the sea. Taking this shot in high-contrast black and white gives the image a unique look. In general I like it, but I wish it wasn't quite so contrasty. In particular, I wish I could see a bit more detail in the face/figure of the boy at left, and the people and costline in the distance. However, this is still a stand-out photojournalistic travel image.

Good timing, I hope that water's deeper than it looks. I'd turn down the contrast a bit and clone out the lens flare on his butt.

Everything just right - the rimlight, the sun in the frame, the burve of buildings - and of course the diver at just the right moment.

Wonderful picture. I had a look at the rest of your pictures, and I find them really great. I will take your pictures as a reference because they are technically very good, and because you can see through them an interesting personality and a sensitive photographer. Well done!

Just beautiful, the timing, composition, choice of B/W. It seems you have captured a certain spirit of the place.

A very good shot indeed! Try to clone off the sunreflextions on the swimmers backside.

Not only did you capture the moment, you also captured the atmosphere of the place: tough, yet curious look of the fellow on the left, the heat and sun, old buildings in front of the water... very special shot. As some below suggested, I would have reduced the contrast and tried to get more details on the people on the left.
Excellent.

Incredible shot. Great timing, great framing, great shot. Those crazy kids amaze me jumping into that water.

great shot
the b&w really works well with this shot and the reflection of the sun across the water looks great
the only trouble is the water looks a bit shallow for diving into
well done

I really like it, but I would definitely do something about the lens flare. For some reason it's the first thing I noticed.
