Photographer's Note
Day XVI
In Mui Ne, just after the sand dunes, you discover the harbour and that is another great moment.
The fishing boats are looking like... a floating colorful forest, on the blue China sea.
There are hundreds of them, standing still in a cute bay.
A kind of a silent color dance...

I like the repeating pattern of the boats and the soft sun shine. Cheers, Michael

Bonjour Stéphane,
Wow, what a huge ammount of ships and indeed they have very nice colours. Excellent capture with a good DoF. Well done!

Wow, Stéphane, I have never seen so many of the traditional boats before. It looks that a competition event :D.
A well seen and well captured picture. Nice contrast and good sharpness.

Hi Stephane
I took a picture, maybe in the same spot as you took this one, but with a Kodak 1mp camere my shot is really crappy.
I really like to have a chance visit Phan Thiet again.
the sand dune, this Harbour, the people that give us lots of chance for our hobby.
thanks for sharing

Hi Stephane,
It looks like some kind of festival for the fishermen. In my home town there is a festival of the sea where all the fishing boats would go out to the beach and a lot of activities are held including offerings to the Sea God. Its a day of picnic for them. I am not sure if it is the same here.
Very nice view of these boats and I can feel the excitement you must have felt. I like this pano format and those little boats in the foreground are nice contrast. Well done!! Regards.

Belle lumière... on rêve...

I think stephane that this photo woudl qualify for a Large Post meaning that you could upload a better quality version for us to see. With panoramas with ratios of 2:1 you may post a large version so we can see all the detail!
It looks like a navy all coming in to attack a coastal region! The colours in this light are great, the boats look so similar, I bet its confusing trying to find yoru boat amongst all these!
Well done!

I love this busy scene in the harbour. It is full of life and many small details. I particularly like the small boat in the bottom right corner. Works well as a panorama - thanks for posting the big pic.

Tres bonne idee d'editer cette image en panoramique, les bateaux y gagnent en presence, et la scene en expression.
Vachement busy! les poissons n'ont qu'a bien se tenir! :-)

That's some fleet you've captured here. I like it as a large format image because we can see all the ships in detail and you can tell there are so many more than appear in this smaller version. The colors are nice here. And capturing all the boats in this direction add to the overall feel of a large fleet unified. Also it's nice how they crowd into the corner it seems and spread out in arms from there. Nicely captured Stephane.

Hi Stephane
What an impressive panorama of this harbour.
great action and details.
I like places like this, but many times when im at similar places, i get dissapointet when i see the pictures, because it is difficult to catch a mood like that. But i think this one succeeds pretty well.
