I think I already wrote somewhere that when getting inside the V'namese markets the first place i would go is near to the dried shrimp stalls.

These are lovely triangular heaps (that may recall the VN hats...) of dried shrimps which provide a salty taste to many V'mese dishes but moreover very interesting geometrical patterns and colors to market shots.

Now you know why I always favor the dried shrimps corner.
- I mean smell apart, which is really something...I sometimes wonder how can someone live a life his or her nose stuck on the nasty little orange piles...but anyway...-
