Photographer's Note
Sa Pa, last week
I went to Sa Pa not as often as going to school when young, but several trips a year to do my “fishing job”. I recently left Sa Pa on Feb 25 after clouds didn’t precipitate as predicted. A phone call from this destination a few days later put me on a flight from Saigon, before a night on the 8-hour train. This is one of a few photos I brought home this time. Please share with me.

A great shot with good composition - the ridge leading in from the bottom right to cross the diagonal. I love the way the mist hugs the hills.

wow! very nice composition, in spite of very foggy scene you were able to show the color and details of the ground, very good contrast. did you use slow shutter for this shot?

great shot. the white fog and the here-and-there colors are really nice. i like the panoramic framing. it's nice that even there is no object in the picture, it still has a form.
