Photographer's Note

Fifty years ago this month, I arrived in Vietnam. Action had just started over there. We had a Marine group in Da Nang, and the US Navy was running the show in Saigon. I was one of the early birds to the US Army Vietnam. USARV. We got started with a Logistical Command and then things changed. I love the Kodachrome. It is a pretty hardy film. That is the Saigon River where those houses are located. The camera was a Nikon F, Photomic T. I still have it.
