Photographer's Note
This image is a glimpse of traditional way of life associated with river activity in the delta which has not changed for generations. For the Vietnamese, the river serves as a social setting, an open-air market and the traversing of all kinds of vessels up and down the waterways is relentless. The lands around the river are flat and perfect for rice cultivation and the plentiful nature of this land is proven when you witness boats laden with all sort of goods float by you.
There are nearly seventeen million people live in the Mekong delta region and rely on it for their livelihoods.

Hello Abmdsudi, a very good point of view and a good presentation using the ‘portrait’ aspect.
The temporary looking track leads us nicely through the scene towards land on the other side. The boats set at right angles to the track are spaced so that we can study each one separately, besides adding extra splashes of colour.

Hello Abmdsudi,
A very good viewpoint helps us to overlook the several vessels along the bank of the river. Good choice for the vertical composition as it is made strong by the strip of land running along the edge. The bright colours of and in some of the boats stand out well and the people add a nice sense of daily life.

So well observed, a fascinating slice of daily life. You placed what is, in my option, the most interesting boat in the deservedly central position. The red bags and the two conical hats make for a wonderful focus point.
