Photographer's Note

Kanchanaburi, Thailand

As the other children were playing in the nearby canal, I saw this little boy safely tucked in this "blanket" by his brother as the latter later jumped into the water to join the frolic.

His eyes are so big. His gaze so wise. He has an innocent stare yet ther is wisdom in them. I came close to him, conversed in my broken Thai and played around a bit until I maintained a certain rapport with him.

I took a lot of pictures from this trip. But this one stood out from the many images I captured. I know why. Why?
