The temples or Wat as they are called in Thai are everywhere in Thailand. Most of them look the same, but there are exceptions like the sleepy Wat Pongor overlooking the Valley of Mae Chan, some 25 Minutes drive north from Chiang Rai. Literally Buddha is protecting the valley as the trunk road is infamous for fast driving. So Buddha tries to help prevent traffic accidents ...

Nicely framed with the sitting Buddha in the frame. Nice view of the valley on a fine day with blue sky. The foliage makes good natural framing.
