Photographer's Note
Long-tail boats are fast, colorful wooden boats that are native to Southeast Asia. These boats are used on rivers, canals and open sea.
Long-tail boats got their name because they have long drive shafts that stick out from the back of the boat and into the water, sort of like tails.
This particular boat, moored on Phi Phi island, is used as a commuter boat to transport tourists from one beach or island to another.

Our travel 10 years ago had a wonderful time on those islands...

Fine perspective of this boat. The color of the water is stunning and the use of the wide angle, coupled with the colored cloths hanging over the front of the boat work superbly.

this traditional long-tail boat offers us a good perspective, in an image with a great depth, in which we can see all the details of its prow and at the same time the beauty of the turquoise water and of the mountains in background.
It is a very attractive composition.
