Photographer's Note
The famous Phuket Vegetarian Festival is now quite known the world around, but most photographers will turn their lens to the disturbing cheek piercings and other bloody events. I tried to capture another aspect of the festival where believers have to walk under bamboo sticks where dozens of huge firecrackers are suspended.
