Photographer's Note
One of the big YouTube hits is this train arriving at Samut SO
ongkhram station, through the market which surronds the tracks just before the station. It looks amazingly dangerous, and when you're actually there is just as dangerous as it looks.

Hi Richard.
Incredibile dove passa questo treno.Bella l'espressione dell'uomo che corre per non essere investito.
Complimenti

Absolutely astonishing, Richard! After watching the YouTube account, the photograph made more sense. The merchants are holding onto the bars to set up the awnings. Your note is short and engaging.

HI Richard!
I`ve seen scenes like this in Bangkok and in a movie from Manila, where a few thousand people live like this.
A good shot, taken with perfect timing from a great POV.

Hi Richard,
I watched the video and these people seem to know what they are doing. Still it looks scary to me. I hope for them that there is a train only once an hour or less and not every 15 minutes.
Very good daily life scene combined with the video.
Well done and thanks for sharing!

Hi Richard,
Action shot for my taste! Good framing, train approaching from top right. I guess some merchandise is spoiled every now and then. How often trains go this route?

Hello, Richard! What a pleasure to see you posting again! And a 3 image series in a roll!
Excellent issue! It´s amazing how people can be sooo close to the trains... vegetables are kept so near the track!
It´s unbealievable how humans can adapt themselves to the environment, but here I think they went really far.
Light, compo, everything works fine but the legs of the poor man. He escaped from the train, apparently ;)
