Photographer's Note
The water bird paradise Thale Noi in Southern Thailand near the provincial capital Phattalung is famous for its memorable sunrises. Well before 6 in the morning the grand spectacle will begin. Birds are singing, otherwise there is no noise, all the plants are just waiting for the sun to climb above the horizon. That is also the time when the first fishermen go out with the small wooden boats, one or two hours later they will return with their catch.
