Longtail boats operate regularly between Ao Nang beach and Railey beach. You can also depart from Ao Nang beach to nearby islands like Phi Phi island.
The longtail boats will leave when there are enough passengers aboard which normally seat 8 persons.

I'd like to know if lugging of my Benro tripod turned out to be worth it. It (with Manfrotto ball head) is 75 cm long and it aroused great interest of security guards in every (8) airports during my trip.
