Photographer's Note
Bangkok is notorious of it's terrible traffic jam.
Surprisingly, the road condition is very well. No even a small hole on the road. Drivers are patient and friendly, you will rarely hear car-horn sound even during traffic jam. When you want to overtake , they will give you way instead of showing you frustrating expression .
The road shown is Rama 1 Road, it has 5+1 (2 ways) lanes. Taxi drivers can easily cross lane by lane in very short distance. My experience was the taxi driver cross 5 lanes in less than 70 meters and make an U-turn to the next lane(opposite direction).
Taxis are the most colourful vehicle on the road, there are yellow+green, blue+red, white+blue, blue ... different kind of taxi. However, all taxi fare meter starts counting at 35Batt (US$0.9), it's relatively cheap compared to other cities.

This is a great photo with brilliant colors, but as a critique I'd like to offer the suggestion to straighten out the horizon a little bit. You can see on the bridge in the back and the roofs of buildings around it that everything is leaning down to the right and it is a little disorienting.
Very good photo, the colored taxis are very interesting!

This photo Jiekuan will teach you a lot.
1. Be careful when shooting something which has subject which shows level like horizon or the footbridge in your photo.
2. When shooting landscape, find a focal point. A focal point is a subject which draw first attention. Without a focal point, the viewer would "meander". Give them something to focus on and as an anchor.

Hi JJ, happy new year. Just looking back at some of your recents, and this caught my eye, because I think you're looking at me again. The WS is a shot I've not posted yet, but looking at the same foot bridge from the oppoiste direction. I agree with you about the traffic. I gave up and took the sky train.
Good point Rabini makes about levelling up.

Interesting and beautiful photographs. The colors add a lot to this photograph. I only think a little rotation could make it even better.

This is a great daily life shot from Bangkok, JJ - although it probably wasn't much fun for those sitting in the traffic. Great colour and nice detail. Well seen and framed.

This are quit a lot of cars too, but not parked so straight as in Newcastle.
Beautiful colours spread out over the picture.
