Photographer's Note

About this photo:
Just came back from Taidong where is famous for its oddly shaped coasts. This is one of them - Siaoyeliou. Not so many trourists that I could compose the photo carefully. Trying to create depth of field with rocks in the foreground, the blue water reflecting the sky in the middle, the loves in the far distance(do you notice them?) and the sky in the background.
Wish the lovers......
Location information:
Siaoyeliou, which means “Little Yelious”, is a smaller version of the scenic Yeliou on Taiwan’s northeast coast, renowned for its fascinating rock formations, is located in Taitong county.
The geology of Siaoyeliou is composed of a mixture of sedimentary sandstone and shale that is rarely seen in Taiwan’s coastal areas. These rock formation has been carved by the wind and water into shapes of surrealistic beauty, for example Tofu rock, Coral Reef rock, Mushroom rock, Honeycomb rock and Sedimentary Structures.
