This was taken at the 127 year old Hill Club in Nuwara Eliya where I was taken for my birthday. I thought that this captuers both the tea that is ever prevalent in Sri Lanka and it's colonial past.

Very nice "still life" picture and it's not only the foreground, the big part of the interior is fantastic, I like it very well, Nick, good shot !

But seriously, as you point out, a fantastic portrait of SL's colonial past (Ceylon).
You could have labelled "Ritz Tea Room" and no-one would have argued!
