Photographer's Note
'Dumujin' is the Korean name given to these unusually shaped sea stack rocks, off the north west coast of Baengnyeong-Do (Island) in South Korea. According to Korean legends, the rocks resemble generals, huddled around each other, discussing tactics for war games.
The backlighting here at sunset, was extremely challenging. I've burnt in the highlights slightly. I wasn't sure whether to clone out the 3 birds at left, or not.

There's no doubt that this was a challenging shot to take (and no screen to check the histogram! :)) I think you were sucessful with your PP as the 'burn out' area is a very tranquil pale lilac, which suits the mood. You have been able to keep the detail in the foreground and in particular I like the grassy area with the wild flowers. On reflection I think I would have cloned out the birds as they are not recognisable as such; some people might like the little group of three. :)

Hello Chris,
A good composition of these interesting rock formations. I like the soft golden light, which does wonders for the tones and textures of the rocks. The flower strewn grass in the foreground makes a pretty and contrasting frame. Very good sharpness.

Bonjour Chris,
une photo qui fait un peu penser aux falaises de Normandie en France, de très belles lumières et couleurs, un moment très bien choisi dans la journée pour faire cette photo.
Regards.
Daniel.

Hi Chris
These rocks really are very unusual. Some of them look like solders. Very nice capture, possibly before sunset. Great sharpness and DOF - I like these flowers in the forgeround. Well done.
Best regards
Urs
