Photographer's Note

The name of 1,240m high Gajisan Mountain加智山 means adding wisdom. This mountain is called the Alps of Yeongnam(Gyeongsangbukdo, Gyeongsangnamdo). It usually takes about 3 hours to climb to the top.
In summer, as if to show off the peak of the Yeongnam Alps, the abundant amount of water from valleys formed in each valley is perfect for cooling off the heat.

To add to that Mountain Gajisan welcomes hikers in spring with azaleas , royal azaleas habitat and natural monuments No. 462. More than 200,000 azaleas habitat, which are located over 1 million square meters, are one of the few natural monuments in Korea.
