Photographer's Note
The local kremlin was very damaged by the soviet arrogance, many historic buildings were demolished.
When I entered I saw a big exposition of military vehicles at side of the ramparts, they were pieces produced in Nizhny Novgorod when the city was the main productor of war equipment to Soviets during II War. Inside the ramparts there are many arches made in bricks and one of them were covered with a panel made with thousands of portraits of Russian soldiers creating a scene where we can see a tank (produced in the city) invading Berlin in 1945.
In the optional image in the WS I will post a closer view of this mosaic.
............

Hi Jorge, very interesting post. A nice artwork creating a war scenery with the small portraits of soldiers, your WS so sharp is very useful to understand perfectly. I have seen something like that in Oman,a lot of faces creating the portrait of sultan. Have a nice Sunday and thanks,Luciano

Hi Jorge
Fascinating post. The tank looks as if it was about to emerge out of the wall. Well used photo opportunity.
Best wishes

Jorge, the local Kremlin exhibits artworks that refer to the 2nd world war like this one. The mosaic on bricks depicts a tank in Berlin, a historical moment painted. Fine colors, good sharpness, regards.

Hello Jorge,
An interesting mosaic well placed in the niche in the brick wall. It is a quite good work of art, but just how good and interesting it is is only shown by the WS. The additional photo was necessary to make us understand what we see.
Best regards,
Gert

The point of view is showing the details of the arch and of the artwork. It is clear and precise. The light is giving nice tints to the colours. Have a nice day.

hello Jorge, Like many cities in former Soviet Union, It had a different name. I remember the name of the town as Gorky. As the industrial city, it was a "closed city" like Perm in Ural where the rockets were produced. Now one can travel everywhere , also as a tourist. My friends studied or worked in USSR in seventies, they were not allowed to go anywhere
Interesting mosaic, looks rather as a photo.
Best regards MAlgo
