Photographer's Note
Inside the church itself there is a curious mural, I guess telling the history of prophet Elijah and maybe in this part showing a scene of the history of Joseph and Mary, while in the lower parte there is a long text with compacted letters.
Curiously the artist created a disproportional image because the lower part of the bodies are longest than the upper part.

Hello Jorge,
It is interesting to see these close-ups of the murals and their decorative borders and it gives us a chance to peruse the figures. But, for me, they cannot compete with those wider views of the rooms, where the walls are shown to be completely covered with murals.
Have a good day,
Bev :-)

Hi Jorge, another very beautiful painting from Yaroslav. In fact is very curious to see the long legs everywhere, and your perfect sharpness is the best way to see that, very well done! Have a nice day and thanks,Luciano

Hi Jorge,
very interesting observation indeed. Lovely paintings but I also like the inscriptions below. Interestingly they are made quite decorative similarly to the texts written sometimes in Arabic alphabet. I wonder how readable it actually is.
Very well done,
M

Hello Jorge,
The paintings are strange but interesting. I wondered if the bodies were so distorted because they were made to be seen from far below, but it doesn't quite make sense. But the same question arises with the letters. They are very decorative but would be hard to read from this angle, even for an expert on old style Cyrillic alphabet. Maybe easier from below?

Gert

Hi Jorge,
The church is full of treasures. The point of view is showing the details of the frescoe. The light is giving good colors rendering. Have a nice day.

Hello Jorge,
A nice close up shot where we can see the artist hasn't quite mastered proportion, with the small head and body and extra long legs of some figures. Good colour and sharpness. Tfs!

Hello Jorge,
A very good photo of the mural, it is clear and well-saturated, I particularly like the blue and red tones, which go really well together. Well done.

Hello Jorge, I remember these paintings but I haven't notice that the legs are so long. I do not know what the scenes represent. This script is written in old Russian, I can't recognize the squeezed letters. Good colours and sharpness.
Best regards Malgo
