Photographer's Note
Farmers busy during harvest time.
There is sigh of relief among them, knowing that their hard work didn't go wasted.
After months of plowing/tilling the fields, sowing the seeds, protecting the crops from pests, insects or natural calamities (floods, typhoons) - it's finally harvest time.
It's time to reap what they sow; time to enjoy the benefits of their hard work.
It sure is one of the best times in a farmer's life!

Lots of happy people and with a good reason - you captured this daily life situation nicely - somehow it reminds me of how harvest was done here around some 40 years ago - thanks Alford for this nice work.

I guess after that they organize a big party (as it's done in my country too). Anyway, a very good pciture of a daily scene where you catched very well the men on the top giving the reap and the men right below working in the machine. Well done!

This one caught my eye because i have a few that are very similar. This is a very familiar scence in the Philippines. It's interesting to drive down the road during that time of year and see the grains of rice spread out along the shoulder.

Very pleasant compo to see all these people working together very hard and enjoying it. Good light in this shot.

Very eye=pleasing shot. I like the fact that as compo, the people are also forming a pyramid as high as the haystack, also the only one face we can see is the one on top, and with a grin. The colors are very subtle, no saturation, and it is perfect for this roadside farming scene. Simple, but all elements working to "bring it home".
