Photographer's Note
Spotted these mother and child carabaos having the luxury of taking a rest and enjoying a mud bath on a ricefield. Approached them slowly and they both raised their head as if to ask "Who's there? Why are you here?" When I turned around to look for the owners, I didn't see anybody, just a scarecrow in the background. So I just took a shot and left. I guess mother carabao was the boss during that particular day.

A very fine compositon and pose you got here - amazing dimension of horn at that mother - the scarecrow add extra to the image - and gives a fine blue element to watch as well - thanks Alford for sharing - I like it :-)

Sharp and beautiful photo of these carabaos. Good DOF and colors and the contrast between them. I like the reflection of the cub in the water and the color of the scarecrow in the background.
