Photographer's Note
When I was young, my parents taught me a famous Philippine traditional song which discusses the lives of farmers. When translated to english, the song has a chorus that goes this way:
Planting rice is never fun,
Bent from morning till set of sun,
Can not stand and can not sit,
Can not rest for a little bit.
Well, I think these farmers have sung that song many times. The rice they have bundled will be
transported to nearby "empty/unplanted" ricefields where they'll be re-planted. They have to do this routine until the end of the day, then do it again for the next few days on acre after acre of ricefields. Who says planting rice is easy or fun?
Was lucky to shoot this during sunrise, when the sunlight provided the much needed light and
colors.

Very interesting picture where each character is occupying a different part of the scene. The colours are very bright, perhaps a bit oversaturated. Anyway, quite instructive about rice planting.

I find a cafe,net with slow speed,still,I'm in north of iran,...and glad to see this admirable shot from Rice field,congratulation,Alford,with this song with very effective,very fine and impressive,with a great perspective,and real colors which well contrasted,I like it a lot,Alford.

Nicely shot daily life photo of a difficult profeesion. I think the colors are a little oversaturated but that is a personal preference.
