Photographer's Note
On a frigid December morning, I do not want to get up from bed and decided to search for a warm tropical scene. Shot from Boracay last March. A view from the end of White Beach I used a ND grad filter to temper the hot noon sun. Additional pp work included tweaking of exposure and contrast. The cam was set at the 'vivid' mode.
I lost the exif data while processing. If I were to guess I used the sunny f/16 rule.

Welcome back! What a great shot of Philippines! I like this colourful boat in contrast with the blue sky and the green water - it's really well placed. I also like the way you included that part of the rock with the vegetation and the houses on the right side. How is the situation over there? I've heard there have been problems. That's one of the destinations on my list.

Sailing boats seem to be typical for Boracay, can't remember I ever saw banca with sails in Cebu..!

a very interesting colour-light / perspective wise photograph, an unusual mix and match in shape frame, attractive for the eye. I guess such remote locations are rich in wonders like this, hidden from ordinary citizenry.
