Photographer's Note
This is in Isabela, the Philippines' no. 1 rice-producing province. During the planting season, you just can't miss scenes like these since ricefields and farmers are everywhere.
It's really nice to see the farmers work in groups. Some groups work faster, and whenever the slower group is left behind, some farmers will help them out to catch up.
Here, 2 farmers are seen coming to assist the 3 farmers in the foreground.

Nice framing by using the row of rice. Only minor critique on this one is that I prefer to see the farmer in white shirt in full body.

I love the way the rice looks in this pic. All of the greens look wonderful. That looks like hard work doing that, it's nice to see them help each other out. Great shooting.

It must be a very hard work. THe patterns of the rice plants are great, not so accurate lines, but wavy rows. I like very much the green far field, which looks much dense than the closer one but of cours it is just a matter of distance. Very nice colorful shot, Alford.

Hi Alford, very nice photo showing a glimpse of the daily life of the farmers. I like the rows created by rice plants, it gives the composition some symmetry and I also like huts and the palm trees in the distance, it gives one some idea of the environment. The colours are very nice. Well done!

Hi Alford...your ricefield series is a delight to look at. I will definitely crop this tighter on top to include just the ricefield. The washed out sky is a distraction. Good picture though!

I like this picture very much. It shows the daily life of the farmers in the Philippines. The composition too is done very properly. You cropped the sky on top to just right.
