It was a beautiful three-day trek through the rice terraces in Ifugao. Here is the target of the second day - Batad. Terraces are old about 2000 years and are in UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Hello Jan,
I like very much this deep and wide description of the landscape, how the foreground plants enhance the sense of depth and give us a vivid impression that we're inside the beautiful scenery. The tall plant balances the composition and looks like a spectator watching along with us. There are very interesting details and lovely natural colours. I love how the light seems to be travelling along the landscape. Congratulations and thank you!

Dear jan,
Beautiful pic. This type of atmosphere is also available in India's hilly states like Uttarkahand and Himachal Pradesh. I like the village near the river. Well seen natural picture which is very simple.

These picture shows perfect the nice terraces on the slope of the mountain.
Your photo is sublime with the one big tree in centre of the picture.
Sharpness and clarity are pleasant to look at, nice panorama view too.

hello Jan, a very nice image here, the second one today that presents us these beautiful teraced hills. I love the view, maybe the tree gets a little in the way. A nice shot anyway, good high POV.
