This is Adam, and in the distance Hamish, on their way up to Camp 1 situated on the SW ridge of Ama Dablam at 5850m. You can see our intended route on the mountain: the ridge going up from the middle of the shot to the right.
On this day the wind was pummelling the upper ridge forming a large intimidating cloud over the route.
