Hello Maria,

I believe this is "Tuva," a city I've wanted to see for a very long time. In the 1980s one of the greatest physicists of our times, Richard Feynman, put the city his bucket list. Then several years ago my dentist and good friend, Preston Burns, was visiting me at my home, he saw the book about Feynman on my bookshelves, "Tuva or Bust,", and immediately made arrangements to visit it. I will share this photo with him. At that high altitude, when the sun is out, the sunlight must be intense, just as these colors reveal. The photo features wide open fields, and complementary colors of red and green. Meanwhile, I urge you to click on the link above.

Memories of the past, we humans are a part of life, and because of this, that is what we are away from the machine life, we feel more relaxed, Green pastures, cows, fresh milk, beautiful landscape, tents, and .....
Waking up in the morning with the sound of chickens and birds, ou ou dogs, V V, and not digital alarm clock

Hello Maria,
The man is well placed and his red details make him contrast perfectly to the green surroundings. The long fence and very simple road make fine diagonals that give the composition a nice structure.

Hi Maria
No milk today, my love has gone away
The bottle stands for lorn, a symbol of the dawn
No milk today, it seems a common sight
But people passing by don't know the reason why

How could they know just what this message means
The end of all my hopes, the end of all my dreams
How could they know the palace there had been
Behind the door where my love reigned as queen

Very nice local scene with good lights but I don't drink milk since 4 years old :)

Milking time! this shot surely brings back some of your fond memories from this haven open vast grassland, this is wonderful just how the view should be and the humble farmer really stands out and gives it punch in his own rural environment. You have great light there as the angled warm light is picking out the details superbly with wonderful play of shadows and textures. I love the timeless atmosphere so well recorded, probably what is missing are the cow and sound of the milk in the pan. He he:))

Description is so informative as always, in particular the last paragraph is of concerned, hopefully their traditional way of life remains.

Great landscape shot with lots of greeneries.The milkman heading home with his milk adds more sense to the scene.The fencing looks very nice in this fields.TFS.

PS. Did you know that we use the word yurt in Turkish, too? In Turkish, it means "homeland" and I am sure the Mongolian yurt and the Turkish yurt are related, they have the same general meaning.

Another interesting picture from Mongolian People Republic! ) I like this composition with the red spot on the green landscape.
Did you mean the ex -Soviet republics? Buryatia is the autonomic republic in the Russian Federation. I have got a few film slides in my archive only. If you want I can scan them and send to you more interesting views.
