Photographer's Note
Hi friends in TE,
With my Olympus Trip 35 in my pocket and googling for some info about the age of the camera, I stumbled upon this article by Ken Rockwell : Digital Rot. I am not rich so it is kinda make me think!
This is a shot of two guys fishing on the rock with the homing fisherman's boat near the coast of Penang. The EXIF data was suppressed, just like what I'll get from my scanned negative.

Very nice warm light on the boat and people standing on the rock for this contrasting color tone of the sea scenery from Penang. Good composed shot. The dark sky goes well with this scene.
I used to have film Olympus Trip too! It had lasted me a few trips to HK and KL. A good article.
I have processed a few more shots of Kuching sunset that we shared for later posting, so stay tuned in due course.

The colour created by the rays of the sun on the rocks to the right makes this stand out. Also like the highlighted buildings in the horizon. Good balanced compo & an impressive scan quality

A well composed daily life shot with the boat and the two men under good lighting against the dark sky, there is a really serene feeling from this scene.
