Photographer's Note

As I was leaving, the boy came to the door and leaning his face on the frame, looked at me. Something in the way he looked, express sadness seeing a friend leaving, and never to meet again. Children, they don't hide how they feel.

A friend asked, how did I take those pictures the way I did. By being honest and sincere with your approach. Never come to a stranger, young or old, man or woman, with hidden intention. If you want to take their pictures, always show the camera from the start. Don't start fishing for it when the interaction is developing.

If they don't like their picture taken, don't bother taking. It would not be good either. Expression, regardless what it is, shows.

But if they do, the picture would tell, the friendship that you have develop with your subject.

Relationship first, photography later. But make known your intention from the very beginning. For photography can leads to friendship too.
