Hi Bill,

The presence of the people has an effect of scale. The diagonal line done by the pier is an asset to the composition. The point of view leads our eyes toward the horizon which is giving depth to the photo. The intensity of the light is enhancing the colors of the sky and of the sea. Have a nice day.

Hi Bill, Good clean composition with excellent balance. The length of the jetty is just right. Also your idea to present to new-commers what to expect and how to grow. Maybe add two more points:

A fine composition made all the more so by the low viewpoint you have adopted. All the elements are nicely placed in the frame. I like the highlights across the water and the lovely sky. Very good colours and clarity.

What I would give to snorkel about there. :) A very nice photo, a bit minimalistic, but it works for me perfectly. The photos is lovely, but your note is inspirational and it looks like you`ve put a lot of work in it, - and I didn`t skip everything bellow, just for the heck of it. :)

A school example as composition 1/3 foreground and 2/3 sky this is perfect.
Also as perspective get we a very great picture.

My favorite subject is water,any kind,but blue is my favorite colors,so I could not skip this picture.
Again a beautiful medium and a good photographer can make a miracle. Great work!
Also very nice note and your No.6.
Yes I like to improve my skills,exchange opinions with many people,do some WS,ask questions,but I'm not a big fan of this point system. Many times we see bad , very bad pictures with 60+ points and great picture with 10 points or less and that is a part of a game. I made many comments even I'm sure 99% it's not going to be answered,that is very easy to check in advance, also I made big numbers of comments on new members photos. I simply like photography and I want to enjoy it.

Beautiful photo, fantastic exotic place, great low POV, it seems that your just above sea level! Excellent framing and composition, perfect light managment and wonderful colours, especially the blue tones! The only problem is the "tilted" horizon, but you can easily fix it in PS. Congratulations!

Je ne connaissais pas le jour bleu mais ici on est obligé de reconnaitre que c'est tout à fait le cas. Le beau ciel qui se reflète dans une mer d'huile fait ici une très belle photo.

I liked these soft lines, so fragille in the horizont, people and the colored shapes are very nice too . I think sharpness isn't so nice

Olá Bill, funny note for beginners in TE and photography. I'm sure it will help them ;-) Love the peaceful mood here, the big sky above, the calm waters, the silver reflections in forrground. The golden rock at left stands out but I prefer the right side with the two people, problably fishermen. The pier makes a nice graphism into the horizon.
