Photographer's Note
At the western side of the small town of Vang Vieng there are mountain ranches which are barely visible from late February due to the haze. The main culprit of haze in Laos is the notorious slash and burn agriculture. During the day the mountain ranges have a diffused look, which melts at sunset to rolling mountain ranges in soft pink hues like in my photograph.

One of those ephemeral moments! Love the effect of the haze on mountains karsts, the opportunity not to be missed to shoot one like this and the conditions and landscape seem so ripe. The layered effect and great recession in the distance stretch the depth even further engulfed by wonderful soft feel given by the low haze in pinkish tones. You managed the exposure so well here and worth mentioning that I admire the clearer separations of planes from end to end. Delightful shot so finely taken. TFS

Hi Urs,
this is a beautiful view here. I like very much the multiple layers of mountains on the horizon which disappear in the pink air.
The vegetation makes a nice foreground with the two plams trees adding a nice touch.

Much finery seen here, depicted by the multi-layered hazed mountains that compete each-others to adorn themselves of subtle pink mantle for an outstanding "official portrait" of thier majesties!!

Hello Urs - This is beautiful, the karst landscape has incredible depth as the jagged peaks are layered and successively softened by the haze. The Fg vegetation is well exposed and sets the scene for the distant view. A lovely shot. Warm regards Rosemary
