C'est vrai que le parapluie et le paquet semblent surdimensionnés par rapport à la taille de ce petit garçon! Une très bonne prise où les coules couleurs du sujet tranchent particulièrement bien sur ce fond d'eau boueuse.

Une superbe photo de contrastes sur ce fond beige. Couleurs, ombres...
Le parapluie est merveilleusement placé et la scène est à la fois insolite et pleine de poésie.

bonjour philippe,
la simplicité de la photo, la couleur du fonds et les couleurs du sac font de cette photo une excellente image, sans oublier évidemment le parapluie qui focalise le regard sur cette partie.

Hi Philippe,
Waiting, endless waiting. Great catch here and indeed that blig black umbrella and the bag are the main atractions here. But also how you placed the buy in the frame and the sandy stone and water colour what brings great contrast in the image,....very good.

Hi Philippe,
A bottle that looks as if it is going to drop at any moment caught immediately my attention. Simple color of the river and the landing stage makes this little passenger stand out effectively. Nice shot with an excellent composition.

Sabaidee Philippe,
This a very beautiful and typical image of Laos and many part of Indochine. The Umbrella may look funny for many Westerners, but it is very important, as you know how hot it get and to be under the sun without cover can really be uncomfortable. The boy look very fragile and small in comparison to the large Umbrella and the big bags of mostly product they buy or trying to sell. Very good POV and a very nice daily life image of Laos. Merci.

So you were there too...in Nong Khiaw? You would be the 5th Trekkie there (including yours truly). I like this shot, especially with the dominating black umbrella & the huge plastic bag...the BG being the muddy waters of Nam Ou. "Nam Ou River" is not correct, since "Nam" in Lao means river (as well as water, in a different form)..so the word ‘river’ is actually redundant. Ou means ‘Mouth’ in Lao ;-)
