This is like a musical "Les Parapluies de Luang Prabang" n'est par de Chebourg.
While this is more of decorative Umbrellas, selling mostly to Tourists, but it is very important in the Lao people lives starting from May to October which is the rainy season. I love the arrangement of the Umbrellas, The beautiful colors and grapically with strong visual impact. The market is not the way it use to be. I remeber the night market in Luang Phrabang, where all the little shops has a little lamps and candels instead of electricity light, I used to love walking around, buying snacks. It's what I miss most.
This is Absolutely beautiful and the essence of Lao is well presented.

On aurait presque pu se rencontrer à Luang Prabang, Philippe! Je suis arrivée quelques jours plus tard. Et j'y étais encore quand tu as posté la photo!
C'est un classique qui ne manque pas d'attraits, avec des couleurs pimpantes et un cadrage serré bien graphique! Bravo!
Mais pourquoi j'ai pas eu l'idée?...
