Photographer's Note

In Laos the clocks seem to tick much slower then elsewhere in Asia. Profession which are disappearing in other parts of Asia, still are very much alive in Laos. There are the fruit cart pullers, the rice bags at the roadside, the dobi respectively laundry man going around, the French bread Baguette fresh sandwich maker and of course also cobblers like the one in my shot above... Since more 40 decades this man sits at the same corner at the crossing of the Sakarin Road near to the Sao international and domestic bus terminal.
