Photographer's Note
Since 2 years the Laos government has build a nice riverside quay promenade where the locals go for a walk around sunset. During the day it simply is far too hot there. Late afternoon hawkers come with grilled snacks and drinks, while peddler offer handicraft products and souvenirs. The greatest spectacle however still is the sunset over the Mekong, which most of the time is in red due to the heavy haze.

We get a lot sunsets but these picture is one of the best of long time ago.
I like the pink sky, but also the couple in foreground.

A picture that fills the senses and trigger the imagination Urs, i remember this place seven years ago, So calm and incredibly peaceful with its enchanting pinkish tones. The warm red sun is very eye catching and vivifies the scenery while the semi silhoutted fill across the frame in a marvellous way.
