Photographer's Note
In downtown Vientiane there are a few lanes where hawkers and even some small shops are selling medical herbs and sticks. It looks like that their products are very valuable, that Thai monks trained in traditional medicine and traditional medical doctors neighbourly countries travel to the Loa capital to shop for the right herbs and other ingredients for their medical recipes.

Hello Urs,
A good capture of this interesting daily life scene reminiscent of some of the shops in Chinatown Bangkok. The participants all seem reasonably happy to be photographed, some even venturing a smile. I like these sort of daily life images, though I am a bit wary and self-conscious when taking them myself.

Wonderful street shot from Laos.Traditional medicine is sold on streets all over the world and Laos is certainly no different.Excellent light and colors.
