Photographer's Note
Most Laos women are dressed very traditional, in particular their skirt. Basically it is a cotton fabric similar to the sarong of the Thai women but it has been tailored to a maxi skirt. In this photograph you see them in the top row. To the "maxi sarong skirt" The womenfolk wears a blouse, mostly in white.

This lady has a wonderful array of colourful skirts, which we are able to appreciate in fine detail. The saleslady is nicely placed in the frame as is the man concentrating on his sewing. A very well presented daily life composition.

Hello Urs.
I like this shot as the display is more like the we we have here where clothes for making dress for women. The skirt is unique even though it has close resemblance with Thai women. The white blouse is contrasting and rather classy, I think.

A fine indoor shot and a real feast to the eyes, what a medley of colours we have here. Lighting is plesantly exposed, crispy sharp and the contrast is so striking.
