Oldness and newness. For us, it is both important. It is loss of culture that an old building is lost. However, the space built with new technology is also required. I wish my camera can gaze at such forever scenery.

Also one of my favorite topics when searching city motives so I added this to my theme. You have quite an extraordinary light situation here, low sun, shadow and a very dark sky. The old house is except for the roof just a silhouette but the deatils of the roof make it work.

Good composition, but your picture is too dark. We almost can't see the detail of the roof top on the foreground. Maybe you should have choose a slower speed and/or a wider aperture.
