Photographer's Note
When I shot this photo, i frame the bottom part with more stone arrangement at the botoom some how when i send this photo to reprocess the stonea are crop off. Well in Malaysia sometimes we are at the mercy of the prosessing shop.

Nice place, and very well composed. But I think that the final result didn't show the whole place's potential. The colors are washed and there are too many marks (date, the sky so not-uniform). It could also be sharper.

Beautiful scene. Are you using a compact camera? If so maybe the rocks at the bottom disappeared because your eye sees a little different angle than the film does through the lense. But it might as well be the lab, it's not only in Malaysia that it's like that, my lab messes up my pictures all the time, scratching the negatives and stuff.
Your composition is very good, the trees frame the picture well, and you chose a good time of day to take the picture: the shadows are just right and the sunlight is warm.
I made a workshop and in the note to the workshop there's some information about improvements that I personally think should be done.

A lovely tranquil scene, you've framed this well. It's a pity about the dark spot in the sky and water, but a good shot nonetheless.

Make a digital scan from the negative if possible. This shot has potential and could surely be improved with a good digital scan.
