Photographer's Note

The photo might not be much of "special" photo, but after spending a few months in Japan working over the past few years I have come to realize the beauty of the "real" Japan seen through the eyes of a temporary visitor.

Most typical photos from Japan will show off the famous spots as most tourists would do, but that is not what the everyday person would experience, and to the Japanese call "home".
After going to Shigaraki on a whim right after being engaged I fell in love with the laid back feeling I got here.

Some info on the place: Shigaraki in Shiga Prefecture, most famous for Shigaraki pottery and the ceramic Tanuki figures (Which I fell in love with and eventually have got a few of...)
