Photographer's Note
The Nishiki Market is the "Holy Land" to the Japanese cuisine. You can get any kind of ingredients for Japanese food. Sweets, Vegetables, Tofu, Meats, dry foods, Fish, Fish and Fish.... Kyoto is the capital of Japanese foods.
Of course, it's not only for cooks. You can eat many kinds of food as walking through the market. I recommend the soymilk soft ice creams. (Please imagine something like a TOFU flavored ice cream). I guess that it is specialty in Japan, isn't it?

Hello Keitaro. I remember walking through the Teramachi-dori and Shinkyogoku shopping arcades, I think they are not far away from Nishiki that you are showing in your photo. A good angle to show the perspective along the corridor, and also well timed to show a few people and still have an unobscured view of some of the seafood and other merchandise. The exposure of the photo is well balanced to convey the atmosphere in an authentic way. Well done.

Hola:
Intereante mercado japones, en algo se le parece a los mercados españoles, aqui tambien los productos son mostrados al publico para que los vean y los compren.
Me gusta la variedad y el colorido del mercado.
Un saludo desde España:
