Photographer's Note
Magnificient colors of the clouds and the skies, grand Mt. Fuji behind, all this beauty replicating in its frozen waters, Lake Yamanaka was at its best.
Some more serious photographers could be seen on top of the frozen lake in the middle of this picture.
On this day, sun sets on the top of the Fuji, forming a diamond ring above.
This attracts hundreds of photographers here. I was lucky to be one of them here.

Hi Shailesh,
Great shot! The colours are truly magnificent. I love the pink, purple and orange tones and the wonderful reflections in the water. Excellent composition and I like the way the sweepy clouds really add something to the photo. Well done!

Hello Shailesh,
A fantastic composition of Mt. Fuji. The angle of the mmmmMt. is perfectly placed in the image and the colors are brilliant, reflection of the Fuji could only be better if the ic were not there.
A beautiul image and great capture...

great and a little bit unusual, because the composition is in red range color and we see often the Fuji in blue range color, in particular by some old master of 19th century

A spectacular photograph, Shailesh. Exposure is spot-on to capture the colours in the lake as well as in the sky. It is a pity that the outline of Mt Fuji is not a little sharper, but perhaps you took this without a tripod (in which case this is very good for a handheld shot at half a second!) Cheers . . . David

that's a great shot. it gives a whole new different character to the Mt. Fuji which is always pictured to be blue. I love this picture!

Hi Shailesh
What a beautiful sunset with the pinky-purpley colours and the stunning reflection of Mt Fuji with snow. The ice adds a dramatic touch.
