This will be last one for Shirakawago in 2018.
I already posted many shots from this famous view point. But all are for light-up, or night shot in Summer, I remember. This is the first time to present day shot in Winter. According to my friend in shirakawago, snow is beginning to melt right now. We may have to wait to see such secne again 10 months more.

Bonjour Takero,,
On dirait des maisons miniatures sous un très grand sapin de Noel. Il ne manque que les petites lumières de couleurs pour agrémenter l'ensemble. Superbe point de vue .

Hello Takero,
It's great to see this view in the daytime, when the winter light makes the village and forest look almost monochrome. The discreet tones of green and brown among the white create a sophisticated image and underscore the beauty of the unique village almost buried under the snow.

I really like seeing also these pointy roofs in the white landscape, they add a very nice contrast and pattern. Also the snowy forest makes a wonderful backdrop.

I love this view from above ! It looks like a B&W picture, and yet it isn’t, is it ?
The lovely chalet roofs covered in snow look really cute at the edge of the impressive sloping forest.
