Located in Java sea betweeen South Sumatra and Kalimatan, Belitung is a hidden paradise, unspoiled, an island undoubtedly with the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen in Indonesia still not exploited by
tourism. What so unique about this scarcely populated island is, the granite boulders of various sizes - some as huge as 10m high scattered along the pure white sandy beaches with crystal clear turquoise blue water. You are totally close to nature. Unlike Bali or Lombok, Belitung beaches are still virgin untouched by the fierce arms of tourism, no hassle from money- minded people!

Shot taken at Tanjung Tinggi on the north of the island.

Hello Abmsudi ,
Another great shot from you . The big dark rocks in the FG contrasting with the more pleasing and sunny scenery in the BG . The threatening sky and the colors are gorgeous .

A superb and simple compo with all the appropriate ingredients: a cloudy grey and threatening sky, the horizon line at 1/3rd with palm trees and a great FG with this series of grey rocks. Excellent large DOF

Hello,

A very good wid angle lens view with a great sense of deepness in the landscape thanks to the right balance between the foreground and the beach and coconut trees in background.
Moreover the sky provided a good dramatic touch in opposition of the golden sunny section in foreground.

The kind of round shaped rock by the sea wich can be seen in tropical places,the best by low tide,lovely shot my frind

Splendid shot. I can easily imagine it like a background display. There are all the ingredients of a dreamy seascape.
All is perfect here for me : composition, sharpness, light, colors.
I think everybody dream to see and to do a shot like this one in his life. It's so restful.
Your shot has really the quality of a 3D image.
A shot which certainly desserves more comments.

Anda benar tentang the virgin beaches di Belitung ini, walaupun saya belum pernah kesana, tapi sekarang menjadi obyek wisata yang terkenal semenjak diangkat di Film Laskar Pelangi (dari buku Laskar Pelangi) yang mungkin anda sudah pernah dengar atau tonton. Saya bisa melihat keindahan yang nyata melalui foto ini selain dari apa yang saya tonton di Film tersebut. Semoga saja dengan ter-ekspose pantai-pantai nan indah ini dibarengi juga dengan komitmen dari pemerintah dan juga masyarakat setempat untuk menjaganya supaya tetap asri, bersih, dan tidak diexploitasi karena bisnis semata... Thank you for sharing.

Fantastic scene. It looks like paradise. I love the way you used the roks at the fg to frame the bay. The colors are also specialy beautiful.
