Hi, nice to see you again in this third part of In Quest for Nektars.
These flowers are growth everywhere in my tiny garden, so i try to take some photos, and i decided to upload this one.
When i took this photo, i only have 1 flash (SB-16), and its giving so much trouble, since the power is very big (GN=42 max). To avoid overexposure, i bounced the flash.
Here came another problem. The flash power decreased more than a half, thus make me have to use big aperture, resulting over exposured background.

I find that fuji slides give very good colour for nature photograph. Too bad, they cost me too much (about US$25 a roll, processing only), so i'm using slide only if i feel i need to.

Post processing : some despeckle and color balancing. Minimum unsharp mask to compensate loss of sharpness from original scanned photo.
