Photographer's Note
I was travelling towards Yumthung valley in the Himalayan ranges in Sikkim, when I noticed these clouds.
For a moment, I felt that the clouds had pulled the mountains apart for me to see the gorge. I know that's weird to think, but it made me happy and I took this shot from the car. Hope you'll like it too.

Hi, Shaeri. It makes me think of the Red Sea opening for Moses to cross it. The clouds and the gorge create a good perspective towards the sky. We can just make out the mountain on the left. For a shot taken from the car, it's quite a good one.

Hello Shaeri,
i was browsing and came across your fine image taken at the most perfect time of the day, when the clouds went away over the Mts. The colours are outstanding and the light is perfect. I don't think you could better the quality or the sharpness, they are just outstanding. It's a superb capture, with the depth of field to be impressive.Well done.
Have a Happy New Year,Danos

Shaeri,
well seen and captured. Isn't moment like this that gives us the impression that nature does its own jokes? Nice to have the shrub in the right corner providing a good sense of depthness.

A parting of the clouds for sure. Well seen Shaeri. The stream bed creates a nice leading line. My only comment would be to use the dodge tool in Photoshop to lighten the shadowed areas a bit to provide a little more detail.

Hi shaeri,
People who want to know how the jorney to heaven will look like, can preview that in your shot! Great capture. I disagree with an earlier post suggesting changes in photoshop. nature should be left untouched as in you photograph.

Hi Shaeri,
A very beautiful corridor between the clouds which shows the possibility for the snow-covered tops. The natural colors are very pleasant. Pretty glance, cheer.
With all my friendships and I benefit from this passage to wish you thus that with all your family, beautiful and happy year 2008,

Hi, Shaeri,
that is an astonishing shot! Aside from the light, color, detail - ALL being just excellent, I have never witnessed such a thing. It is like the Hand of God parting them so you can view that amazing blue sky and find your way. This is one of the most incredible shots I have seen on this site. Awesome!!! Many thanks and warmest regard,

Helllo Mademoiselle..Indeed the clouds have parted ways..its actually a scientific phenomenon..since the narrow valley runs right below..the warm air rises sharply till the valley opens out to meet the clouds at thi alt.....(i am not going to get you bored with this...you are doing well sipping that cappucino...) Scientific phenomenon..you should look it up..
a great shot for geography student to understand atmospheric conditions better...
Have a great sunday..sip it hot :)
Cheers

Namaste Shaeri,
You have a great eye for clouds and mountains. It's like the sky had a valley above the one on earth. The texture of the slopes is amazing, it's like musk. The only thing less great is the sharpness.

Hi Shaeri. Off to Kolkata for a couple of days. Back to TE to find the 'clouds making way' in a beautiful way. Very nicely composed. Your thinking seems to be in tune with the hills parting off to make way too. Sharpness adequately supported the wild beauty of the serene place. Thanks indeed for sharing this. Regards.

Hello Shaeri
You're correct...like Moses parting the sea, the clouds part & hugs the mountain contours. I guess it has to do with the cold temperature of the rocks, that's why the clouds are hugging them. But well seen & well captured.
Best Wishes

Hi Shaeri, this is an incredible view. Incredible beautiful and it seems indeed that the clouds make way! Perfet composition only the DOF is not perfect. I think using a higher f/ would correct this.Still wonderful with good light exposure.
