Photographer's Note
Sikkim lies in the North-eastern part of India. It's a small state, but its beauty is simply stunning. This was taken on the way to Yumthung Valley in the Himalayan ranges; the clouds inspired me to take this shot. This was taken from a moving car, hence I didn't get enough time to frame it perfectly.

The blanketing clouds creates a very good contrast to highlight the sharpness of the peaks. Lovely rugged landscape wonderfully captured. I like the sharpness of the image and the natural colors. Well composed ... excellent work! tfs

The framing is fine, and if you didn't mention the fact that you shot it from a moving car, i wouldn't have noticed it... Good light despite the overcast and lively sky, nice colors and sharp details.

Ici les nuages semblent engloutir ce paysage. On dirait une grosse vague. J'aime bien la lumière qui permet de bénéficier du relief. Beau cadrage.

It's difficult to know how you could have framed this better as the two main peaks fit into the frame perfectly. You were able to capture a wonderful atmosphere with the low cloud and good light on the scene. Well done

This is good from the moving car. The clouds play a big role in here, in the absence of snow. The ruggedness of the landscape & the textures have been captured very well. I have also some pics. from moving car in Chamba..will post them soon

this one is special. I like the composition very much with its three layers, the autumnal vegetation in the fg is magnificent, the mountains and the sky so clear and sharp, it's got a great mood, nice result from being taken from a car. Pity you didn't stop:-)

Splendid view ! the clouds playing hide and seek with the peaks, the fact that we can see the top of the mountain on the left make this a fantastic photo, and I admire your sense of the composition !

I don't understand why you complain about the compo. Many of us would be glad to get such a wonderful shot after getting around with a tripod. The shapes of the mountains, the clouds, the amazing light and those red flowers or leaves below make it fabulous.

back to your picture: a nice capture in my opinion even for a picture taken on "stable ground" but in the case of you catching it from a moving car - amazing. beautiful light and clarity on the sunlit slopes. i like the foreground coloring too.
