Tirakol river, a photo from Goa, West

Photographer's Note

A view on the Tirakol river, which marks the border between Goa and Maharashtra state(in background). It can be crossed by ferry and there is also a bridge about 10km from this spot.
It is hazy because of strong heat and high humidity level...

Une vue de la riviere de Tirakol, qui marque la frontiere entre Goa et l'etat voisin du Maharashtra, que l'on voit au fond de l'image...
On peut traverser avec des ferry-boats(des traversiers en Quebecois ;D) sinon il y a un pont a une dizaine de kilometres de cet endroit...
Il y avait une legere brume, due a la forte chaleur et au niveau d'humidité très élevé.

I love the way the lndscape sprawls and eases up in front of the camera. the toens are hues are superb and the view is beautiful. nice job indeed.

I like the way this photo is separated in lines or layers, the trees in the foreground to the shore in the background. A fine composition.

Hello laurent,
nice the border between the two regions with this side of the river.The islets in the middle of the river create great perspective and a good depth of field.I think anyway that the background line is a little bit overexposure.Well done.

I counted 8 horizontal layers in this composition indicating the big depth you have captured. Your high POV was perfect to be able to do that.

The reason of the haziness is pretty clear and the only way to avoid it is doing this shot very early in the morning ... I like the composition a lot to see the tight framing cutting through the winding of the river. Isn't it tilted? :-)
